The battle between tech giants, Microsoft Corporation and Google Inc., over patent issues finally put on a stop.
According to a trade judge, he stated that the game console, Xbox video gaming system, did not violate or infringe the patents that Google’s Motorola Mobility unit made.
Judge David Shaw from the U.S. International Trade Commision is clearly siding with Microsoft Corp. in this case. But his conclusions are the not final yet and still subject to review by the panel-of-6-commission, which has the ability to stop the the imports of products that violates the patents in the U.S.

In the 2012 Game Developers Choice Awards, game developers of various sizes and background scenes shared the stage to get identified by their industry competitors for jobs done well.
Hosted by Cliff Bleszinski, lead of Epic’s Gears of War, the game who won the annual ceremony is Bethesda’s epic open world RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Steam, the online video gaming community managed by game company Valve, verified Thursday that the discussion boards have been compromised and informed customers to keep an eye on their credit card billing statements.
The company’s community forums have been defaced earlier in the week, causing some players receiving e-mails from the hacking Site, according to Kotaku.

Nintendo has reported life long product sales of their popular DS handheld have exceeded 50 million within the U.S.
The statement was made along with consumer research company NPD Group’s monthly tally of video gaming product sales. Ever since the portable video gaming product released in 2004, Nintendo has sold 273 million games within the U.S., as outlined by NPD data.
