Google plans to shut down in June the Meebo Bar for receiving and sharing personalized content from websites in favor of Google+ tools for interaction between websites and users.
Google is planning to stop the further developments of the Meebo Bar to focus more in enhancing the Google+ tools.
Google acquired the company that made Meebo in June 2012. Aside from the Meebo toolbar that it has, they also incorporated it with advertisements, and social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Meebo also has their own IM application in desktop and smartphones.

Microsoft has a new offer to its supporters now. Their email service known as Microsoft Outlook is now on an upgrade and they named it as Outlook.com. This is not just an update to its free email service, but it’s also going to be a punch against its major competitor Google.
According to Microsoft, Outlook.com will be replacing the very famous Hotmail. Overuse of social networks in teenagers is linked to narcissistic possibilities, according to the research of some scientists.
A new psychological research said teenagers who spend too much time on social networks like Facebook are more probably to show narcissistic tendencies and show indications of other behavioral troubles.

The Internet world is abuzz with the Google+ chatter. Google+ is Google’s supposed Facebook killer.

According to a latest survey, Facebook users are further trusting of other people, have bigger quantities of close friends and display an advanced level of civic commitment.
The Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project discovered that the quantity of people on social networking locations has over doubled since 2008 and that people with Facebook accounts have a advanced level of social well-being than those with no Facebook.
