To celebrate the Earth Day, Nissan is joining forces with the people of New York City to introduce new environment-friendly cars to be used as taxis in the city that never sleeps. Six cars from Nissan, the Leaf, is going to be the taxi and will be a test program of mayor Michael Bloomberg. His goal is to make the electric taxis the city’s taxi in 2020.

Apple released the iOS 6.1.3 update yesterday that fixes a bug in a security as well patched some holes the the Evasion jailbreak exploited.
The security bug allows anyone to bypass the lock screen and let them access the phone. Bypassing the device can let you view contact photos, voice mail and make phone calls. While the Evasion jailbreak exploited some holes in the iOS and can be used in iOS devices such as the new iPod Touch, iPad, and iPhone.

On Wednesday, BlackBerry maker Research In Motion will at last officially reveal its BlackBerry 10 OS and the first Blackberry devices running on the platform.

A report from the research firm IDC, the Android software for mobile devices of Google was running on 75 percent of shipped smartphones during the third quarter, at the same time as it is leading over its biggest rival Apple.

On Tuesday, Microsoft Corporation has already set up the price for its newest Surface tablet below the iPad of Apple Inc. This just shows that the company is looking for an intent to have a part of the tablet market.
Microsoft is planning to sell a WiFi only version of their Surface 32GB tablet at a price of $499. Their device is much cheaper compared to Apple’s $599 price for their iPad.

According to a new study, most users of iPhone 5 have updated their operating systems to the latest version, iOS 6. This is despite of the fact that there are a number of reported flaws of the new OS.
