The wireless carrier, Verizon Communications, reported a healthy profit on Thursday. The revenue is mainly from the wireless business that made millions from the smartphone sales, services, and subscription that keeps growing steadily.

On Monday, the Chief Executive of Tumblr David Karp and the Chief Executive of Instagram Kevin Systrom have given a few clues on the steps their services will be taking or not taking at a San Francisco conference.
According to Systrom, he was not really affected on the issue that Twitter will be adding up photo filters to its service. It is known that Systrom has previously sold his photo-sharing site to Facebook. On Tuesday, the Other World Computing which is the long-time accessory maker for Mac computers, announced that it will be starting in shipping the first ever third-party SSD modules for the Retina MacBook Pro of Apple on the 21st day of August.
Apple has released the Retina MacBook Pro with SSD-only drive options last June. However its SSD modules use a form factor and proprietary connector. With the latest SSD modules, the pre-orders for its 480GB Aura Pro are now accepted.
