Face-off on product bans, Apple vs. Samsung

Apple has appealed for the eight phones of Samsung that are Android-based to be banned. This is after the verdict that favored Apple over the patent infringement case.

On Tuesday, Judge Lucy Koh had scheduled a face off in court in response to the request of Apple to ban the eight devices, which include Galaxy Prevail, Droid Charge, Galaxy S Showcase, Galaxy S 4G, two versions of Galaxy S II, Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, and Galaxy S2 Epic 4G.

Samsung attorneys sued by Apple Inc, wants serious punishment

On Thursday, a U.S. judge was asked by Apple Inc. to reprimand Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. because of a conduct done by a Samsung attorney by means of ordering that the company has violated the phone design patents of Apple.

The court trial just started this week with very high stakes of court proceedings between the two mobile companies. Just last year when Samsung sued by Apple for the reason that Samsung copied the design patents of iPad and iPhone. However, Samsung countersued Apple.
