Sharp Corporation was reported to start the production of the LCD panels to be used for the new iPhone 5S coming out in the third quarter, according to a report from Nikkan Kogyo Shinbun of Japan.

The LCD manufacturer will use their Kameyama Plant No. 1 for the production of these panels. This plant has the capacity to produce more or less 600 million units per month but it has never been used in its full capacity due to the decline in business of Sharp.
