The two largest smartphone maker and great rivals Apple and Samsung is soon to be cleared and granted security approvals by the Pentagon so they can be used by the employees of Department of Defense. The Pentagon is prepping so Samsung smartphones and Apple’s iPhone can access their system.

Android reportedly caused the drop of shares of Apple Inc. According to analysts and income reports of both companies, though Apple sold many iPads in the first quarter, their share in the tablet PC market decreased slightly and might continue this year. Apple Inc. finally posted their first quarter earnings on Tuesday showing a drop of profits.
Gates are opened and market research firms are making their own analysis about the results of the tablet and smartphone sales in the first quarter of 2013. Apple shares are falling in Wednesday trading in spite of recording increase of sales. Dips down to $398.11 and ends in $402.80.
The issue started when Cirrus Logic, an Apple supplier that makes the sound parts for the iPads and iPhones, reported a drop in sales. 90% of Cirrus Logic’s revenue accounts from Apple, according to reports.

With the fast growing rumors of the upcoming iPad 5, another reports are adding that Apple will be using new LED backlights to make the full-sized iPads more light and thinner.
