CBS Twitter Accounts Hijacked, Hackers Tweeted Fake Messages

Hackers are on the move again and attacked Twitter accounts of CBS network’s 60 Minutes and 48 Hours, tweeting bogus messages claiming US is supporting terrorist group.

The hijacking of accounts happened on Saturday and tweeted “Exclusive: Terror is striking the #USA and #Obama is Shamelessly in Bed with Al-Qaeda” using the 60 Minutes account. Other account 48 Hours retweeted the statement in their feeds, too.

Gmail Service Interruption Now Resolved

Users of Google’s Gmail service once again stumbled on some errors preventing them from accessing their email accounts on Tuesday afternoon but as soon as the search engine giant received the report, it was fixed right away.

“The problem with Google Mail should be resolved,” according to Google in a note on its Apps Status Dashboard. “Please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better.”

Hotmail Problems Sparks Complains of Users

A protest sparked because users of Hotmail experienced problems accessing their accounts Thursday night. Complaints did not stop until service is restored.

7 p.m. on Thursday, Hotmail service temporarily ceased down the operation to all of its users around the world.  Many of the users complained about the problem, some even voiced it out to Microsoft and in the site Downrightnow.com

At last, iPad users got their hands on a native Skype app now. Over a month after it was expected to create its formal debut, the iPad-optimized Skype client started appearing in Apple App Stores now.  The latest app takes advantage of the tablet’s bigger screen real estate, making for crisp and clear video chat over Wi-Fi, and often less crisp chat over 3G.
