Honda Recalls Acura TSX for Stalling Problems

Honda announced a recall for their Acura TSX models due to stalling issues. There were 76,000 units of the car, models from 2004 to 2008, in the US. This problem was discovered first in Iceland 2 years ago.

The announcement of recall is only available in salt-belt states that includes District of Columbia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Vermont, Virginia, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Missouri, Minnesota, Michigan, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Delaware and Connecticut.

Honda Recalls 300,000 Pilot SUV’s

The Japanese car major, Honda Motor Co. recalls more than 300,000 Pilot SUV’s from the 2009 to 2011 models to inspect the faulty front seat belts, which possibly disconnects in a car crash increasing the risk of injury or death.

The company said that due to manufacturing error in the assembly of some vehicles, the  stitch that connects the lap section of the belt to the outboard anchor webbing could be missing or incomplete.

No deaths or injuries reported yet, and this recall is a preventive exercise.
