The Australian police force have arrested the self-proclaimed leader of the most notorious hacking group in the world, LulzSec, in Sydney yesterday.

The hacking leader is Matthew Flannery, that uses the name Aush0k in the internet, 24 years of age and lives in Gosford suburb of Point Clare. An IT professional and works in an international IT company.

According to the authorities, Flannery has access to the client’s information that works in the government because he has a good position in the company where he is working.

Universities in China Collaborated with Military Hacking Group?

A report coming from Reuters suggesting that researchers at Universities in China are working together with the military linked to hacking on a security-related papers.

The papers were co-authored by some PLA Unit 61398 or People’s Liberation Army of China linked to cyberattacks against companies in the West. The papers that were from Shanghai Jiaotong University included details of network securities and intrusion detection.

Two U.K. hackers pleaded guilty today to attacking websites of some big entertainment companies and government agencies in Britain and the United States.
