Mozilla Proposes Mobile OS Boot to Gecko

Earlier this week, Mozilla announced the Boot to Gecko (B2G) project which aims to create a full standalone operating system based on Linux.

The Boot to Gecko project is presently in preparation phase and not much code has been written so far. However, this may change quickly as Andreas Gal, a specialist at Mozilla Corporation, said that the project is in its infancy and several pieces of it are just captured in our heads today. Mozilla Develops a Mobile Operating System

Non-Profit Software group Mozilla has exposed preparations to create an open source mobile operating system (OS) codenamed Boot to Gecko (B2G)

The organization makes one of the most well known web browsers in Firefox and is hopping into the mobile OS space. When B2G is complete, it will compete with Android, IOS and Windows Phone 7.

How to Enable Facebook Video Calling on Mac OS X Lion Browsers

Facebook’s latest feature of video calling powered by Skype, which was opened and was followed by the introduction of ‘Hangout’, video chat by Google in Google+, is not carried for all Operating Systems.

The video calling supports Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer on Windows, Mac and Linux OS but it doesn’t work in the pre-released edition of Mac OS X.
