Some think that this technology will continue for a longer time but with during the interview of Bloomberg with BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins, he said that tablets will be obsolete in five years. It would appear that Facebook Home has just surpassed 500k downloads on Google Play since launching on the platform five days ago on April 16. The app’s Google Play listing notes the milestone, and Ben Evans confirmed on Twitter.
Facebook seem to be successful with its Facebook Home software for android platforms. Since it’s launch 5 days ago, April 16, it surpassed the 500k-download milestone on the Google Play listing.

Samsung, as one of the leaders in the smartphone market, has been caught red handed in paying people to bash rival smartphone manufacturer HTC.
According to reports, Samsung hired people and paid them to talk bad things over a couple of sites through comments and forums against their Taiwan-based rival. The Fair Trade Commission of Taiwan is now investigating the issue after receiving a lot of complains about these practice of Samsung.
Samsung, however, did not deny the allegations and immediately released a statement of an apology.

Now that the Galaxy S4 from Samsung is officially out and seems competing with the iPhone 5 in the market, people are now beginning to anticipate the next phone in the Apple’s iPhone line. As Samsung finally released their Galaxy S4, Apple’s iPhone 5 sales is not affected in the market. According to analysts, Galaxy S4 is not as refined as iPhone 5.
Brian White, Topeka Capital Markets analyst, have said Samsung crushing Apple in the phone market is a complete nonsense. During the stock downdrafts, there are analysts that said Samsung is “out-innovating” Apple.

With the upcoming launch of the latest Galaxy S4, Samsung has a back-up plan already if it doesn’t go smooth like the failure of Galaxy S3. There is a huge demand of the Galaxy S4 according to surveys, the company just hopes the supply problems will not harm the sales.
