Samsung Gets Top Spot as World’s Biggest Smartphone Seller

Samsung Electronics Co. dominated over Apple Inc. during the last quarter for being by far the biggest smart phone manufacturer between an extending legal and technology fight involving the two companies.

Samsung delivered 27.8 million smartphones on the market during the last quarter, acquiring 23.8 % on the market, according to an email from Milton Keynes, U.K.- based Strategy Analytics. Apple Inc.’s 17.1 million deliveries, including 14.6 % of the market, sent the company to second place. However, Nokia Oyj retained the third position.

Rumors Say Apple Will Release a White iPod Touch

Elusive white media player may be on the horizon as leaked photos show. The long awaited white iPhone 4 of Apple had caused fairly a stir.
