Toyota Motor Company is hoping to sell it new Prius Plug-in hybrid targeting 50,000 units each year worldwide.

Toyota’s Prius has been dominating the sales of vehicles when it comes to hybrids. In the U.S., Honda attempted to compete with the Prius with three versions of Civic Hybrids and two versions of Insight Hybrids but never had the success failing miserably when it comes to sales.
