Apple has suffered another punch from its patent battle against its biggest rival, Samsung. And by this time, its about the patent for tablets.
A court in The Hague, which has cited previous decisions in British courts, made a ruling that some of the Galaxy tablets of Samsung do not infringe a design from Apple.
The Dutch district court case focused on the rounded corners of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 7.7, Galaxy Tab, 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9. Facebook, the social networking giant, has announced its major addition, which is a smart search engine it has named graph search — this permits the facebook users in making “natural” searches of content shared by their friends only.
The feature includes search terms that can make use of phrases like “friends who like Harry Potter and Twilight.”

Today, Samsung Electronics Co. has restrained attempts in seeking sales bans on its biggest competitor Apple Inc. on the company’s iPad and iPhone in Europe with the use of patents associated with wireless standards. This is a step looked into as an effort to calm down regulators who are investigating the use of Samsung to those particular patents.
This move has been brought upon by the heels of a refusal from a California judge to block sales of a lot of mobile devices of Samsung that a jury found to have infringed a number of Apple patents just this summer.

On Wednesday, it seems that Apple invites are signalling the launching of the newest addition to their line of gadgets, the rumored iPad Mini. Also sparking several investors in pushing the stock of the company higher despite announcement of Microsoft of the cheap price for its Surface tablet.

On Tuesday, Microsoft Corporation has already set up the price for its newest Surface tablet below the iPad of Apple Inc. This just shows that the company is looking for an intent to have a part of the tablet market.
Microsoft is planning to sell a WiFi only version of their Surface 32GB tablet at a price of $499. Their device is much cheaper compared to Apple’s $599 price for their iPad.
