China’s Efforts in Cleaning Up Oil Spill

A clean-up is initiated by China and other environmental observers, Thursday, because of the country’s largest oil spill. The said clean-up is now progressing, but the environmental and economic disaster that it has brought is very evident.

The clean-up carried on over a 430 square kilometer stretch from the Yellow Sea pushing off up to the northeastern part of Dalian city. China’s major ports and strategic reserve sites are found in this city. In the said clean-up, one of the workers who helped in cleaning up the oil spill drowned and died.
