When McDonald’s franchisee Tom Wolf constructed his newest restaurant in Huntington, W. Va., late this past year, he mounted two chargers for electric vehicles so clients could charge their batteries while eating. At this point, the mounted charging station has been utilized a couple of times only.
“It’s for the future,” according to Mr. Wolf, who invested $6,385 on the chargers which are about the shape and size of a parking meter.
