On Friday, Twitter has confirmed that it had been the newest victim of a cyber attack.
For the past few months, there were a number of high profile cyber attacks made against a number of media companies. People from Twitter stated that the hackers may have acquired access to information on about 25,000 of the 200 million active users of the social networking site.

On Wednesday, Dropbox has announced that its users will now have the capacity to share files stored on the said service even within groups in Facebook.
According to a blog posted by Dropbox, notes and other stuff can now be shared within your study group, post a video to your family’s group, or add the latest schedule for a game to your basketball or soccer group at lightning speed from wherever place you are located.

According to reports, Google will be dropping its support for Internet Explorer 8 of Microsoft for its online applications and services in mid-November. This will effectively end the support for many users of Windows XP.
The company stated on a Friday blog that IE 10 will be launched on the 26th of October, and as such the company will end its support for IE8 soon afterwards on the 15th of November. The manufacturer of the Blackberry PlayBook postponed an update for the tablet pc’s os until the coming year.
RIM stated it is expecting to produce the update in February.
Research In Motion has confessed that the income of the unit are less than it expected. It recognized consumers wish native email, and contact apps.
The expected update targets to provide these features.
The company’s blog explained the decision as “difficult”, however guaranteed the modification allows the company’s mobile phones and tablet pc’s to interact much better.
