Barnes & Noble is releasing out two latest versions of its Nook tablet with the glossy new hardware and a sharper HD screen. This move is heightening the already intensive competition between tablets, especially now that we are heading into the holiday season.
Previously, Barnes & Noble stated that its new Nook HD will be available in two different sizes. One tablet is a seven-inch screen (diagonally measured) at a price of $199 and another tab is the newest addition, a nine-inch diagonal screen referred as Nook HD+ at a price of $269.

Google has confirmed that Gmail and Google Calendar have been provided redesigns as part of a “series of interface updates.”
The latest theme of Gmail, recognized as ‘Preview’ at the moment, is intended to “strip out unnecessary clutter and create Gmail as beautiful as it is powerful,” Jason Cornwell said, a user experience designer at Google.
