First three keynote speakers for the festival on 2011 was announced by Southwest Interactive, namely, Christopher Poole, the founder of controversial website and cultural movement 4chan org; Blake Mycoskie, the founder of TOMS Shoes; and author Bruce Sterling.
Poole was recognized online as “moot”, and established 4chan as a teenager and has observed it turn out to be one the most well-liked and controversial locations on the Web.
The famous for his benevolent efforts was Mycoskie and TOMS gives a couple of shoes to children needy for each pair they sell.
This year, Poole was at SXSW and was component of a rollicking Core Conversation in a packed room. 4chan is one of the biggest Web forums in the country and it is a network of now and then controversial message boards.
The thinker, science fiction author and a regular SXSWi speaker is Bruce Sterling and for all time draws a multitude. His enjoyable, far-ranging talks have been well-attended.
The first event in the annual SXSW music, movie and interactive festival the Austin Conference will be on March 11-15, 2011.
