Physicist Stephen Hawking has explained the belief of heaven as a “fairy story.”
He says he looks upon the brain as a computer which will stop working when its parts fail. He says, “There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark.”
Hawking set off his beliefs on the topic in 2010 in his book The Grand Design, in which he disagreed that there was no needs to assume a maker in order to make clear the existence of the universe.
On the other hand, for the reason that he didn’t particularly say that there was no God – and since he’d figuratively referred to the ‘mind of God’ in A Brief History of Time, several positive argued that he still may be a believer.
Hawking makes his ideas clear, adding that he individually is not afraid of death.
